The Shengjin Port has 60 fishing vessels of various sizes. The number has increased significantly compared to the past years.
Fishermen say that thanks to the removal of the excise on fuel, and the removal of VAT on other materials, as well as the fight against informality, has made the sector grow.
The plans for a shipyard in Shengjin is undergoing, so that vessels can be repaired within Albania, while a new market is being built for the trade.
