The premises of a wood processing factory in Fushë-Kruja have been engulfed by the flames of a fire that broke out in the early hours of today. Local sources say that significant material damage has been caused.
Residents near the building on fire spent difficult hours as the smoke and fire endangered their health and lives. The raw material of the factory, mainly wooden pallets helped to spread the fire.
The event is suspected as a deliberate arson attack, while further investigations will clarify the circumstances and the cause of the fire. Police are questioning the owner of the facility who may shed light on the event and possible conflicts such as competition in business.
