A few days ago Fiks Fare denounced an agency in Tirana that requested citizens hundreds or thousands of pounds with promises to employ them in the United Kingdom.

The “B&M” Group office, which claimed to draw up contracts with an English company, was denounced on April 17 by the editors of the investigative show after citizens’ complaints.

“I want to denounce an office which took 200 pounds from us, as if a representative of a company in England”, said one of the reporters to Fiks Fare program on Top Channel.

“I communicated with the parent company in England and they stated in writing, that we have no cooperation with this office. They are taking a lot of people by the neck”.

Fiks Fare journalists went to the office in the center of Tirana, who stated that concluded such agreements and that the payment was made in cash at that office.

Fiks Fare asked at the British Consulate, where the employees stated that “we have no cooperation whatsoever with any office”.

The journalists turned to the English firm “B&M”, which also said that “we have no collaborations”.

After the broadcast of this investigation, the journalists went to the office in the center of Tirana, to confront the denunciations and claims of this office.

More Albanian citizens made available to the investigative program some agreements with “B&M” in Tirana, which is legally registered official registration number, representing Mr. Haqif Hetemi.

Then there are the data of the applicants, who were promised mediation for employment at “B&M” in the British cities of London, Liverpool and Manchester in the field of construction, truck driver, electrician, excavator operator, painter, as pavers and any other position in this field.

Fiks Fare searched the company in the official registers, where the name of the subject is “Haqif Hetemi” appeared, in field of “office services”.

But a few days after the broadcast, the office makes an announcement on the social network “Instagram”, writing that: “The office is transferred to Kodra e Diellit in Tirana. Meetings will be by reservation only and the company’s administrator will also be present.”

Meanwhile other people have reported the same scheme to the investigative program. Contracts and payment receipts were sent to the editorial office, always in hand and not in the bank.

Citizens state that they have paid from 200 pounds to 800 pounds and no one has received an answer.

Despite these denunciations and the closure of the office, the B&M Group page on the social network “Instagram” has responded to some citizens. They state that the office is temporarily closed and will reopen in a few days. Fiks reporters tried to verify some addresses of the suspicious agency but were unable to find its location.
