Two months ago, Fiks Fare program on Top Channel reported the scandal in the Albanian justice system and forensic medicine, in the release of a murderer from prison, by labeling him mentally ill.

In the crime report, the forensic doctors stated that the perpetrator of the crime should be released from prison and attend compulsory medical treatment, as he suffers from schizophrenia.

But the victim’s wife insisted that this report was fake and asked for the help of “Fiks Fare” to find justice.

Fiks Fare revealed the whole chain of falsifications of expertise acts to save from prison the murderer who stabbed his neighbor in Korça.

Fiks Fare’s investigation showed how forensic doctors found the killer ‘irresponsible’ before the law, presenting as evidence medical report for the digestive system instead of mental health problems.

Following the broadcast of the case on the Fiks Fare program, on January 26 this year, the Korça Court of Appeals overturned the decision of the first instance court, and returned the acts to the prosecution for the continuation of the investigation and psychiatric examination of the perpetrator with a group of 3 of experts.

The wife of the deceased thanked Fiks Fare, saying that she believed she would find the missing justice in this show.
