Rexhina Leka, the former candidate of the LSI party in Durrës, is asking for 2,800 euros to provide evidence of the German language.
The exam is taken in Germany but she is connected to someone there who appears to take the exam instead of the interested persons. So against 2800 euros, the interested party does not enter the exam, but someone else takes his place.
The show Fiks Fare brought the case of a real estate agent who operates mainly in the city of Durrës, an area in which she was also a candidate for deputy in the last parliamentary elections, for the Socialist Movement for Integration Party.
Ms. Rexhina Leka promised Fiksi’s collaborator proof of the German language against the sum of 2,800 euros.
Rexhina tells her client that the money must be put in the bank because ‘what she is doing is ilegal’.
The program brought 2 meetings between the realtor and the infiltrated person of the investigative show, conversations in which Rexhina states that the exam is taken in Germany, the individual does not enter the exam himself, but someone else will enter for him. She says that she has been doing this for 7 years, and that over 100 persons received the certificate in this way.
In the confrontation with Fiks Fare journalists Rexhina starts to cry, but says that there were people who cheated her in Germany and therefore she cheated the people who paid her in Albania.
“I know it’s a scam,” she says, among other things.
But in September, according to her, they all took the certoficates, admitting in front of journalists that she played the role of a middlewoman, as she took money to interested individuals to a guy in Germany who went to the exams.
Rexhina says that for the people who did not take the certificate, she is trying to return the money, admitting that she has done something illegal.
