Fier, two electricians die from collapse of out of date high voltage pole in Roskovec

Two employees of the electric power service lost their lives this morning, while working near an electrical substation in Roskovec near Fier, in the southwest of Albania.

The two employees were working to repair the disconnection  the old high voltage line when the pole suddenly broke down due to its old and unrepaired state and both employees fell to the ground losing their lives.

The tragic event took place around 10:30, in the village of Jagodina.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances.
