The Central Election Commission failed once again with electronic ballot
count test in Fier. Chairwoman Lefterie Lleshi declared o Top Channel
that the test has not been realized, while another deadline has been
violated too, putting the power usage in this area. In the meantime,
another deadline has been broken.
Top channel learned that the deadline is postponed to Aoril.
Same as with every other process, there has been complete lack of transparency, with CEC not making public the reasons why the mission fail. None of the CEC administration answered about the project that is seen by many as the novelty of these elections and that will determine their fate.
Different from what it was agreed, CEC postponed this deadline by the end of January 2012. CEZ kept postponing this deadline to January 23. But even this deadline was not voted and the explanatory arguments were not published. With March passing away, none of the two novelty systems is ready.
Besides digital numbering, another project of this novelty, which is the verification of electors in Tirana, has given no results.
