State Police, with the placement of the new time band restrictions, which stops movement from 20:00 to 6:00 in the morning, has continued checks throughout the country.

On Thursday evening, 41 citizens were fined for circulation without any necessary reason. Meanwhile, 59 citizens were penalized with license revocation and vehicle blocking.

Deputy Director of Tirana Police, Dhimitraq Ziu, told Top Channel that the biggest violators of the time band are drivers, while pedestrians are fined mainly for not wearing masks.

“Drivers are the most common violators of the normative act, for movements after the time band. There are also drivers who abuse and misuse the authorization of the normative act. They do not go to the right destination, but wander in vain, in the streets, in the squares. This is problematic and the police rightly intervene.”

But from Friday evening, checks will begin whether they respect or not, the permits they have received from the platform E-Albania.

“We will follow another scheme today. Whether the vehicle driver will use the authorization for destination, or will do what he has done the same in the last few nights. The sanctions will be very severe”.
