Experts of Meta-Prifti video have no equipments

Only one week before the legal deadline that the Supreme Court has left
to the three Albanian specialists for evaluating the originality of the
Meta-Prifti video scandal, the experts have addressed to the court with a
letter in which they demand help.
The lack of specialized equipments and licensed software made the experts ask help from the court in this direction. This demand came after the prosecutor declared that for the expertise they have to use legal software purchased from a licensed retailer, in order to avoid legal penalization of the users.
It remains to be seen what will be the position of the Supreme Court for this letter. The parties will meet in 24 October 2011 for hearing the experts Ardian Pollo, Ermal Zeqiri and Artur Rrahmani about the expertise of the clock with a built-in camera and the laptop that held the videos that MP Dritan Prifti recorded during a conversation with the former Deputy Prime Minister, allegedly luring him into a corruption affair.
This expertise was formerly made by the American Glen Bart and was submitted at the Supreme Court by the General Prosecution, but was considered invalid for procedural reasons.
During an interview for Top Channel, the US Ambassador declared that the US Government has given no official help for the expertise of the Meta-Prifti video file, but that it was made by reputable private American firms.
The expertise for the originality of the video scandal, recorded by Dritan Prifti and made public by Top-Channel, is the strongest detail in the case against the former Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time former Minister of Economy, Ilir Meta. The outcome of the expertise will decide the fate of the defendant.
