For several days now, the committee of health experts has been discussing additional measures to curb the spread of infections, after the increase in cases during February.
At the table is the option of extending the police curfew, to 21, 20 or 18, as is happening in Greece where there are numbers of infections similar to Albania.
Other prohibition measures are the closure of some of the services, mainly the interior spaces of the bars.
The Academy of Sciences has also expressed its support for the restrictive measures today.
“The descent has started in all countries, while today we are still at the top. This is because softer measures are being implemented here in comparison with Europe. To accelerate the decline in cases we need to tighten the restrictions for at least a 2 week phase. Facing the pandemic with as little damage to the economy as possible”, said Academy head Gjinushi.
