Saimir Tahiri spoke for the first time after his departure from the Interior Minister position in a police fair organized in Tirana on the occasion of Summer Day festivities. “People believe things will get better in this country. We have done a lot, and still have a lot to do, but would loose a lot if we turn back”, Tahiri said.
He thanked citizens for their support and added he will continue to contribute for the country as he did while in office. “This is the Police force we want and we will do the same for Albania. We will continue to do our work with the same passion”, Tahiri said.
As was also the case last year, the police fair was a main citizens’ attraction during the Summer Day festivities.
