The Euro has been losing terrain against the Albanian Lek once again, causing concerns and debates among the public opinion.
The opposition says that the reason is related to the dirty money that is entering Albania through the drug traffic and other criminal activities.
According to the Democratic Party MP, Agron Shehaj, said that the reason for the price drop is the massive cultivation of cannabis.
The Bank of Albania, on the other hand, says that the terrain that the Albanian Lek is earning towards Euro is proof of the economic progress.
As for the newest fluctuation of this summer, they say that this is normal for every year in this season, due to the high number of tourists that enter Albania.
