The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is attending a visit in the
Kingdom of Netherlands, a skeptic country that played its part in
Albania’s EU candidate status postponement this December.
Rama started his series of meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr.Timmermans. The details about the meeting are still unknown, and even if Netherlands has made any statement regarding their position in the June elections.
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, published a photo with this comment: “With the Dutch Foreign Minister, Timmermans, who congratulated us for the convincing governing of these months”.
Rama’s visit continued to the Dutch Prime Minister’s office, where he was received by his counterpart, Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
Rama considered this meeting as held for “Albania’s real progress and why Europe needs Balkan as much as Balkan needs Europe”.
This Prime Minister’s visit is held a few weeks before the Council of Ministers meeting in June for the candidate status of Albania.
