The High Judicial Council has updated the information regarding the work for the establishment of the High Court by announcing that 23 candidates have applied for the 11 vacancies.
Furthermore, the HJC announces that out of 23 candidates, 2 of them have been verified, while the work for the verification of 21 others continues.
They added that at the end of the candidacy procedures for each of the positions, the High Judicial Council decided to propose the appointment of 3 candidates by decree of the President of the Republic.
Meanwhile, before completing the above procedures, the Council opened the procedure for promotion to the Supreme Court a prominent lawyer, for another vacant position.
