35 higher education institutions, public and private, have started today the second round of registrations. This round will take place in 5 stages and closes on October 9th.
The German language branch at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, among the most requested, offers 120 quotas. Most have been exhausted and only 11 vacancies remain for this round.
“I come from Kavaja. I enroll in German language, for the perspective it has as a branch. When everyone has their eyes abroad, I see it as a great opportunity to get away. I see my future away from here. Almost my entire class is about to leave. There is a job market and opportunities to develop. Here, I’m sorry to say it openly, but there is none,” says one student.
“I chose English language, as there are good employment opportunities, in education, hotel, tourism, translation, etc. In the first round I did not succeed. Now I have come to register in French. I have people there and I will go work there. I aim to leave,” said another.
