The “Celepia 2” ship has been hijacked by an Egyptian worker, Muhamet
Salam, who has taken hostage Luan Mema, motorist, and Captain Dhimiter
Malja.

The owner of the fishing vessel, Murat Celepia, notified the police that he lost contacts with the crew.

Sources say that the ship is now close to Alexandria, Egypt, and has been hijacked by the Egyptian sailor because the owner has not paid him. He threatens to sink the ship with the two Albanian sailors if he is not given 70.000 EUR. The owner has rejected these claims.
