Education Minister warns: Difficult period, longer vacations than usual are predicted

Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi and the Chairman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Taulant Balla were in the 9-year school “Adem Krasniqi” in the “Skënderbej” district in Elbasan.
Minister Kushi said that this year there will be a longer vacation period than other years, due to the pandemic. She got the opinions of teachers and students for the combined teaching in the school and the “online” teaching, while she demanded maximum commitment in the remaining days, until the closing of the school for the end-of-year holidays.
“We decided that primary school students should come to school because it is more difficult for them to develop online learning, but also because they are considered as non-transmitters of COVID-19. There are still a few days until the end of this quarter and I ask for commitment in these days, and then we will have a longer vacation period than other years, which we believe will stabilize the situation somewhat.” said Kushi among other things.
