EC President: Albanians must not be prevented from expressing democratic opinion in elections

The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, declared in a joint press release with Prime Minister Edi Rama that people in Albania must not prevented from expressing their political and democratic opinion.

“I am in favour, without interfering with this ongoing process, that the elections should take place if this would not harm the European perspective of Albania”, Juncker said.
