The Albanian authorities were pleased and grateful for today’s international conference of donors on the 26 November earthquake, as more than 30 countries or unions solidarized with Albania by donating more than 1 billion euros.
In the 7.1 magnitude earthquake at least 50 people dies and hundreds of homes were damaged or destroyed.

Greece – EUR 2.5 million and construction of 200 dwellings
Germany – 11 million euros

Bosnia and Herzegovina – 100 thousand marks
UK – 1 million pounds
Croatia – 1 million euros
Kosova– 200 mijë euro në formën e granteve
Italy – 65 million euros
Liechtenstein – another 50,000 euros for the reconstruction process
Algeria – 50 thousand euros for the reconstruction process
UNICEF – 500 thousand euros for schools
Slovakia – 250 thousand euros
Austria – 1 million euros
France – EUR 60 million loan
Slovenia – 300 thousand euros
Czech Republic – 9.5 million Czech kroner
Northern Macedonia – 97 thousand euros
Finland – 300 thousand euros
Luxembourg – 150 thousand euros
Spain – 25 thousand euros
Bulgaria – 100 thousand euros
Hungary – 250 thousand euros
Ireland – 300,000 euros
Montenegro – 500 thousand euros
Serbia – 2 million euros in grants
Switzerland – EUR 9 million in grants
Qatar – $ 5 million
US $ 5 million (including $ 3.9 for families in need, $ 600,000 for the Red Cross and $ 800,000 for cultural monuments)
Japan – 2.5 million euros
Azerbaijan – 500 thousand euros
EU – EUR 100 million and EC – EUR 15 million.
