DP summons Culture Minister Kumbaro about Butrint rehabilitation

The Democratic Party asked the Minister of Interior, Mirela Kumbaro, to
interrupt rehabilitation works at the Butrint Park until the situation
is clarified.
The Chairwoman of the Media Commission, Albana Vokshi, argued that the situation needs to be clarified by UNESCO and other involved actors, such as archeologists and historians.
The Minister of Culture was summoned at the Parliamentary Commission, where she faced complaints from the opposition MPs. They claimed that the documents were made available to them after the time limit.
Minister Kumbaro argued that the rehabilitation of the site will be done to offer access to people with special needs, to create better sanitary conditions and to cooperate for selling souvenirs and books, without being able to sell coffees.
