The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, appeared today at a press conference in Pristina with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, where he stated that when he comes to power, one of his first decisions will be the abolition of the Kosovo-Albania highway toll.
“I come always with great pleasure in Prishtina, which is also my second city after Tirana because during the years 2000-2004 I lived here. We are following the Covid-19 pandemic developments with concern and I am encouraged by the package of measures that you have announced, both in terms of health and socio-economic measures. For the talks with Serbia, I express my full support to the DP and the united Albanian opposition.
“In the DP you will have a devoted partner for the continuation of the works we have started like on the Rruga e Kombit highway and for the economic liberalization.
“One of my first decisions will be the removal of the tax and the toll on Rruga e Kombit highway, an unfair decision of the socialist government”, declared Basha.
