The Democratic Party accused the government led by PM Edi Rama of imposing a new fuel tax on the Albanian citizens.
“The circulation tax has been increased since 2014, making every liter of fuel pricier. Even when the oil price in international markets dropped to its lowest point, Albanians kept paying more”, declared the former MP Izmira Ulqinaku.
“Greedier than ever with their concessions and oligarch robberies, the government has decided to give another service through the Public Private Partnership. Fuel pumps will have a new agency for guaranteeing the security reserve for fuels”, DP declared.
