“It is a special pleasure for me, I have lived in this town for 8 generations, my candidacy came somewhat unexpectedly.

I thank the SP and the president Edi Rama for the trust, but I also tried my best. I thank the people of Divjaka municipality immensely. We lead with 2,400 votes. We joined the stream of victories of the Socialists throughout Albania. I am a farmer, I will do the best for my village for my city”, Gorrea said, among other things.

Regarding the accusations from the opposition that there are illegal votes in the ballot boxes, the mayor elect said: “It is a great sadness for me that they continue in the wave of serious mistakes they have made.

There have been hindering us for days and weeks. Many residents have been prevented from going to the polls, even within the voting centres there was a fight to prevent it, but it was a clear victory. There is no problem, we will also try to make them responsible.”
