More than 2000 people who have the disabled status in Lushnje have not
been paid their social assistance for the last four months. They
protested against this delay and declared that they are unable to buy
medicine, food and other specific services.
More than 2000 disabled people in Lushnje are entering the fourth month without receiving the disability pension. They are being sent from office to office, without receiving any answer. This made them protest against the authorities and ask a solution to the problem.
Many of the people with different diseases have been unable to buy the medicines that are necessary to treat their conditions.
No one is giving an answer to the invalid people on why their payments have been delayed. These delays by the ending of the year have turned into a tradition, making their situation even worse. Many other cities are facing the same situation.
