The Democratic Party mentioned the names of 8 high ranking official in the State Police who according to the opposition are running a multi-million drug dealing ring. Vice chairman Edi Paloka said these accusations are based on foreign partner intelligence services’ information who implicate in the cultivation of cannabis the police officials in Tirana, Vlora, Berat, Dibra, Kruja and Burrel.
Paloka also said Prime Minsiter Edi Rama is the main beneficiary of the cannabis business. “This giant criminal activity is rising every day to ensure millions of euros to Edi Rama and his oligarchy, money that Edi Rama plans to use to by the next general elections”, Paloka said. “Rama has abandoned for quite some time now Albanians and their interests and is ruling together with criminals and for criminals. Drugs and criminality are not the Albanian’s choice. Their economy and security is degrading every day because of crime and corruption. Albanians refuse this mafia style rule and will banish it very soon. Albania is better without Edi Rama”, he added.
