MP Erjon Brace debated with the Minister of Finances regarding the
budget review that reduces investments of foreign funding. Brace
requested information about the Tirana-Elbasan road and the “bypass-es”
of Fier and Vlore.
The Minister of Finances said they found a solution for the Tirana-Elbasan road, while the two bypasses have problems with the contractors and subcontractors. They are waiting for the government to intervene for a solution.
One of the main problems with the Fier bypass is the low and unreal cost of the bidding, which is related to the contractors and subcontractors. Both bypasses are on the table for intensive negotiations.
The Commission of Economy passed the normative act that changes the budget of this year. The opposition was represented only by the Vlore MP, Lilijna Elmazi, and the act passed only the votes of the majority.
