“Dajti trial” without lawyers

11/03/2013 17:20

The Court of Serious Crimes has ran out of patience with the Dritan
Dajti trial, who is accused for the murder of four police officers in
2009.

After giving the necessary time for the lawyers to take him under defence, but no one stepped in, the Court of Serious crimes decided to continue the trial without lawyers.

The decision was given when the defendant had not chosen any of the lawyers that were offered by the state.

Dritan Dajti’s trial has been withheld for more than 200 sessions, since the defensive lawyers who are called to defend him always refuse with various justifications.
