Zoran Milanovic, from the Social Democratic Party, will be the new president of Croatia.
He won with 53% of the votes against the conservatory president, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, who received 47%.
Zoran Milanovic left politics after the early elections of 2016, to work for a private consulting company.
His work has also involved consulting cooperation with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, which is also published on Wikipedia.
Milanovic has offered consults to Rama about the integration issue. He was elected President as Croatia received the presidency of the EU, clearly supporting the idea of opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania.
