Croatia offers support for creation of Kosovo Army

The Kosovo Security Forces received full support from Croatia, for its
transformation into the Armed Forces and for the preparation of cadets
at the Military Academy of Zagreb.
The new Croatian Minister of Defense, Josip Buljevic, chose Kosovo as the first country he visits on duty, and confirmed his support.
“We truly want transformation to take place as soon as possible. I think that the Kosovo forces have good quality. The sooner the transformation takes place, the better it is. We are really ready to offer support in this direction”, said Josip Buljevic, Minister of Defense, Croatia.
The Kosovo Minister of the Security Forces, Haki Demolli, compared the assistance of Croatia same to what Albania has given to Kosovo.
“This means that these are two brotherly countries”, said Haki Demolli, Minister of Security Forces in Kosovo.
Kosovo has made all preparations to change the Constitution and transform the Security Forces into an army, but for this they need the votes of the Serbian MPs, who oppose it.
