COVID19 update/ 782 new cases and 13 loses of life in the last 24 hours in Albania

Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities: 315 cases in Tirana, 46 cases in Saranda, 32 cases in Fier, Kavaja, Vlora, 31 cases in Berat, 30 cases in Durrës and Lushnje, 28 cases in Shkodra, 23 cases in Elbasan, 22 cases in Lezha, 21 cases in Kolonjë, 18 cases in Pogradec, 16 cases in Kuçova, 15 cases in Kurbin, 10 cases in Kruja, 9 cases in Has and Përmet, 8 cases in Malësi e Madhe, 7 cases in Kukës, Mirditë, Mallakastër, Gramsh, 6 cases in Mat, 5 cases in Korça and Delvinë, 4 cases in Peqin and Skrapar, 1 case in Librazhd, Gjirokastra, Bulqiza.

In the last 24 hours, 572 citizens have recovered, while in 4 COVID hospitals 480 patients are being treated, 33 of whom in intensive therapy.

Despite the efforts of doctors, in the last 24 hours, 13 citizens with Sars-Cov2 positive have lost their lives in COVID hospitals: 2 citizens from Fieri, 2 citizens from Vlora, 2 from Berat, 2 from Durrës, 1 citizen from Tirana, 1 citizen from Lushnja, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Pogradec and 1 citizen from Korça.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased. The authorities call upon the citizens not to neglect contacting the family doctor, for any sign of illness.
