The Ministry of Health appealed today (01.03.2021) to all citizens to implement the rules for the prevention of COVID19, adding that in the last 24 hours 800 vaccinations have been carried out.
Authorities said that 2714 coronavirus tests were performed, of which 764 citizens resulted positive.
Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 310 cases in Tirana, 35 in Librazhd, 33 in Shkodra, 28 in Tepelena, 27 in Gjirokastra, out of 24 cases in Durrës, Elbasan, Kukës, 23 in Berat, out of 22 cases in Vlora, Peqin, 20 cases in Kavaja, Kuçova, and lesser numbers in other districts.
In the last 24 hours, 640 citizens with COVID have recovered, while 659 patients are being treated in hospitals, 43 of which in intensive care.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 20 citizens lost the battle with COVID19: 9 citizens from Tirana, 2 citizens from Berat, 2 citizens from Fieri, 1 citizen from Durrës, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Peqini, 1 citizen from Kurbin , 1 citizen from Rrogozhina, 1 citizen from Kavaja, 1 citizen from Delvina, all aged 48-85.
