Albania has again faced an increase in the number of deaths from COVID-19, while during 24 hours 18 patients have died.
During the last 24 hours, 2,201 tests were performed, of which 645 citizens tested positive.
The positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been located in: 272 cases in Tirana, 56 in Durrës, 51 in Fier, 48 in Korça, 30 in Kuçova, 20 in Mat, 19 in Pogradec, 16 in Vlora, 15 in Kolonjë, 14 in Elbasan, 13 in Kruja, 12 cases in Tepelena, Dibra, 10 cases in Has, Saranda, 8 cases in Devoll, Peqin, 6 cases in Mallakastra, Delvina, Skrapar, 4 in Berat, 3 in Tropoja, 2 in Shkodra, 1 case each in Kurbin, Kukës, Lezhë, Malësi e Madhe.
In the last 24 hours, 403 citizens have been cured. Currently in 3 COVID hospitals, 463 patients are being treated, 25 of which in intensive therapy.
Unfortunately, 8 citizens from Tirana, 3 citizens from Durrës, 1 citizen from Dibra, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Lezha, 1 citizen from Kurbin, 1 citizen from Berat, 1 citizen from Vlora, and 1 citizen from Fier, have lost their lives, who were 56 to 82 years old.
