COVID19 update/ 448 infected and 15 losses of life in the last 24 hours

Albanian health authorities announced today (24.03.2021) that in the last 24 hours 2475 tests have been performed, of which 448 citizens resulted positive with Covid-19.
Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 113 cases in Tirana, 30 cases in Shkodra, 28 cases in Gjirokastra, 26 cases in Durres, 23 cases in Korca, 20 cases in Fier, 19 cases in Saranda, 18 cases in Librazhd, 16 cases in Berat, 14 cases in Elbasan and fewer in other districts.
In the last 24 hours, 696 citizens have recovered, while 357 patients are being treated in hospitals, 19 of whom in intensive care.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 15 citizens lost the battle with COVID19: 3 citizens from Fier, 3 citizens from Durrës, 2 citizens from Vlora, 1 citizen from Saranda, 1 citizen from Shkodra, 1 citizen from Lushnja, 1 citizen from Rrogozhina, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Pogradec, 1 citizen from Librazhd, all aged 59-87.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased, and addresses the citizens not to neglect any signs of illness but to contact the family doctor for any doubt.
