Dr. Rovena Daja from the Institute of Public Health said today that the number of people affected by Covid-19 in Albania has reached 409, as 9 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
“We would like to inform you that the field work continues for the identification of new cases and the tracking of confirmed cases’ contacts.
“In the last 24 hours, out of 234 suspects tested, 9 were confirmed with COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 409 cases.
“As seen graphically, a higher percentage of those affected are men, with 53%.
“22 citizens have lost the battle with this disease so far, despite the extraordinary efforts of the health personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 11 patients have been added to the list of the recovered”, stated Daja
