Only 6 new cases have been confirmed with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in the country, 4 of which in Tirana and 2 in Shkodra.
6 recovered cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, while 79% of the total number of persons affected have already recovered.
Dr. Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided the details:
“Based on the strategy of easing measures, on the criteria of hospitalized cases, cases requiring treatment in intensive care and cases of loss of life, the situation has been stable, in the 14 days of its assessment.
“The situation at the infectious disease hospital is stable. Currently 16 patients are being treated, while 4 are in intensive care.
“Meanwhile the number of confirmed positive cases across the country today has exceeded 1 thousand.
“The Ministry of Health and Social Protection invites citizens to be careful, respecting physical distance and personal hygiene. Citizens should not neglect the signs of Covid19 such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing. If you have these signs call the unique National Emergency number, 127.”
