5 new cases of covid-19 have been confirmed in the country in the last 24 hours. 3 of these are in Durrës, 1 in Tirana and 1 in Kruja, all contacts of previous cases.
Meanwhile, 13 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, while in total 80% of those affected are already recovering.
Mirela Cami, Director of the Healthcare Services Operator provided the details:
“Although the epidemiological situation is stable, the intensive work of epidemiologists in the field has continued for the identification of new cases and their active tracking, both in the red and green defined areas of the country.
“Meanwhile, family doctors are constantly monitoring active cases with Covid19 with mild symptoms.
“During the last 24 hours, 204 citizens were tested as suspects affected by Covid19 and 5 cases were positively confirmed.
“The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 3 cases in Durrës, 1 in Tirana and 1 in Kruja, contacts of previous positive cases. 13 citizens are recovering.
