The Ministry of Health informs that in the last 24 hours, 121 people have been confirmed positive, while 3 people have lost their lives from covid-19.
Despite the efforts of doctors, a 70-year-old man from Tirana, a 71-year-old man from Lushnja and an 81-year-old man from Korça have unfortunately lost the battle with COVID19.
The geographical distribution of new positive cases in the last 24 hours is as follows:
57 affected in Tirana, 14 in Elbasan, 6 in Lezha and Vlora, 5 in Mirdita, 4 cases in Berat, 3 cases in Kruja, Lushnje, Patos, 2 cases in Kurbin, Dibra, Bulqiza, Gramsh, Vora, 1 case in Shkodër, Durrës, Fier, Librazhd, Kamëz, Gjirokastër, Përmet, Sarandë, Divjakë, Fushë- Arrëz.
The health authorities inform that currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” 189 coronavirus patients are being treated, 18 in intensive therapy, of which 6 are intubated.
