The Ministry of Health said today (07.10.2020) that in the last 24 hours 914 tests have been performed of which have resulted positive with the SARS-COV 2 virus, 162 citizens.
Meanwhile, 150 citizens have recovered, bringing to 9115 the total number of those healed in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in the following municipalities: 63 in Tirana, 16 in Korça, 10 in Durrës, 9 cases in Shkodra, 6 cases in Kavaja, 5 cases each in Fier, Lezha, Vlora, Pogradec, 4 cases in Kuçova, 3 cases each in Lushnje, Berat, Mallakastër, Gramsh, 2 cases in Krujë, Devoll, Elbasan, Kukës, Dibër, 1 case each in Has, Puka, Librazhd, Gjirokastër, Përmet, Saranda, Ura Vajgurore, Përrenjas, Roskovec, Kolonjë, Shijak, Skrapar.
Currently, 231 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, of which 17 in intensive therapy.
In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately lost the battle with COVID19, a 47-year-old man from Tirana, a 68-year-old woman from Kavaja, a 72-year-old man from Shkodra, a 75-year-old man from Korça.
