The Ministry of Health announced that in the last 24 hours, 117 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered, while 4 citizens have lost their lives as a result of the coronavirus.
The victims were an 84-year-old woman from Shkodra, a 75-year-old from Tirana without other diseases, as well as 2 other men from Tirana: a 78-year-old and an 82-year-old, with concomitant diseases.
Following the increase in daily cases in recent days, the health system has been put on alert by the increasing number of patients in need of intensive therapy. In this situation, the Ministry of Health appeals for the cooperation of citizens to respect the rules, to limit the spread of COVID19.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses a call to all citizens to wear the mask in any enclosed spaces, to respect the distance of at least 1.5 meters from others and to take care of personal and collective hygiene.
