The Ministry of Health informs that 144 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the country and 3 people have lost their lives from the disease.
Despite the efforts of doctors, a 57-year-old man from Lushnja, a 74-year-old man and an 83-year-old man from Tirana have lost the battle with COVID19.
824 tests were performed in the last 24 hours and 144 positive cases were confirmed.
The daily cases were identified as a result of epidemiological tracing, testing and investigation. Their distribution is as follows:
55 cases in Tirana, 15 in Fier, 10 in Elbasan, 9 in Vlora, 7 cases in Durrës, Kurbin, Divjakë, Gramsh, 6 in Korçë, 5 in Lushnje, 3 cases in Shkodër, Pogradec, Delvinë, 2 cases in Kruja, Përmet, from 1 case in Kavaja, Berat, Gjirokastra.
In the last 24 hours, 65 citizens have recovered, bringing their number to 6733 since the beginning of the epidemic.
