The Albanian Ministry of Health reported today (04.12.2020) that during the last 24 hours, 2,264 tests were performed, of which 801 citizens tested positive.
In the last 24 hours, 490 citizens have recovered, while currently in 4 COVID hospitals, 483 patients are being treated, of which 35 in intensive therapy.
In the last 24 hours, 18 citizens with Sars-Cov2 positive have lost their lives in COVID hospitals: 9 citizens from Tirana, 3 citizens from Fier, 2 citizens from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Tropoja, 1 citizen from Korça, 1 citizen from Durrës and 1 citizen from Kruja.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to avoid any kind of gathering, to limit unnecessary contacts and movements in order to curb the spread of COVID19.
“We remind you of the necessity to respect the rules of physical distancing, placing the mask in any environment outside the house”, said among other things the authorities.
