5 people have died and 153 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Albania.
In the last 24 hours (19.09.2020), despite the efforts of doctors, a 57-year-old woman from Kruja, a 60-year-old man from Bulqiza, a 62-year-old man from Lezha, a 67-year-old man from Tirana and an 82-year-old man from Elbasan have lost the battle with COVID19.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
836 tests have been performed in the last 24 hours and 153 cases have been confirmed.
The identified daily cases are distributed in the municipalities as follows:
57 cases in Tirana, 15 in Lezha, 11 cases each in Kruja, Fier, Pogradec, 8 in Vlora, 6 in Korça, 4 cases each in Lushnje, Mat, Gramsh, Patos, 3 cases each in Mallakastër, Librazhd, 2 cases in Berat, Divjakë, Maliq, and 1 case each in Durrës, Elbasan, Tepelena, Malësi e Madhe, Peqin, Memaliaj,
57 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing it to 6888 since the beginning of the epidemic.
