Albanian health authorities announced today (03.04.2021) that 341 citizens have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 3007 tests performed during the last 24 hours.
Tirana continues to have the highest number of cases, with 85 infected, followed by 23 in Durres, 18 cases in Fier, 18 in Pogradec, 17 cases in Kruja, 17 cases in Gjirokastra, 16 in Korca, 15 in Elbasan, and less in other districts.
Currently 263 patients are being treated in hospitals, 10 of which in intensive therapy, while 9 citizens aged 37-79 have lost the battle with Covid 19.
The deceased were 2 citizens from Tirana, 2 citizens from Librazhd, 2 citizens from Durrës, 1 citizen from Fier, 1 citizen from Lushnja, 1 citizen from Elbasan, aged 37-79 years.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased and reminds the citizens to implement the preventive measures for virus.
