COVID-19 update / 302 new cases and more victims in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours in Albania, 1329 tests have been performed, out of which 302 citizens tested positive for the SARS-COV2 virus.
Meanwhile 82 citizens have been cured of the disease, bringing to 10548 the number of recovered in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in these municipalities:
196 affected in Tirana,
31 cases in Durrës, 17 cases in Fier, 11 cases in Tropoja,
8 cases in Kurbin, 6 cases in Pogradec, 5 cases in Shkodra,
4 cases each in Kukës, Rrogozhinë, Kuçovë,
2 cases each in Korça, Kavaja, Vlora, Mallakastër, Vora, Patos,
1 case each in Mirdita, Kamza, Bulqiza, Peqin.
Currently, 264 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 11 in intensive therapy.
In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately have lost the battle with COVID19, a 77-year-old man, an 80-year-old woman from Tirana, an 80-year-old man from Fier and an 82-year-old man from Durrës. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
