Covid-19 update; 288 new cases and 3 victims in the last 24 hours

51 patients have been cured of the disease while 280 patients remain hospitalized in the two COVID hospitals.

New positive cases have been identified in these municipalities:

147 cases in Tirana,
16 in Fier,
14 in Kruja, Gjirokastra,
13 in Durrës,
11 in Kavaja,
10 each in Lushnje, Gramsh, Kuçovë
8 in Peqin,
7 in Elbasan,
4 each in Shkodra, Kurbin,
3 in Tepelena,
2 each in Vlora, Tropoja, Kamza, Pogradec, Divjaka,
1 each in Lezha, Mirdita, Rrogozhina, Berat, Dibra, Memaliaj, Skrapar.

Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital 280 patients are being treated, of which 14 in intensive therapy.

In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately have lost the battle with COVID19, a 50-year-old man from Lezha, a 56-year-old woman from Tirana, an 88-year-old man from Tropoja.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
