COVID-19 update/ 17 new cases in the country, 933 total number of affected

17 new cases have been confirmed with Covid-19 during the last 24 hours.

The news was announced by the Ministry of Health, adding that out of 933 infected since the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic in our country, 77% have recovered.

There are 188 active people with Covid-19 throughout Albania.

The new cases are concentrated in the Tirana-Durrës area, respectively 8 in Tirana, 8 in Durrës and 1 in Kruja, mainly contacts of the previous positive cases, but also new cases on which the epidemiological investigation is being carried out.

The Ministry of Health added that the increase in new cases for the third day in a row clearly shows that the care of the citizens should continue, to respect the established measures, in order to minimize the spread of the virus.
