15 new cases were confirmed today with Covid-19, 13 of which in Durrës, 1 in Tirana and one in Shkodra.
Top Channel reports that the Durres cases are all traced from one single manufacturing shop.
Dr. Flutura Beqo from the Health Ministry gave the details:
“The epidemiological situation is stable, based on the identification of new cases, their active investigation and the number of patients treated.
“During the last 24 hours, 186 citizens were tested and 15 cases were positively confirmed.
“The geographical distribution of the new cases is as follows: 13 in Durrës, 1 in Tirana and 1 in Shkodra, contacts of previous positive cases. 16 citizens are recovering.
“The condition in the infectious disease hospital has been stable for days with 15 patients hospitalized and only 3 of them are in intensive care.
To date, 964 citizens across the country have tested positive for COVID-19. Of these, about 79% are recovered.
There are currently 175 actively ill people with COVID19, mainly in Tirana, Durres, Kruja, Shkodra.
