Albanian health authorities today (03.05.2021) reported significant reductions in new coronavirus cases, saying that 38 new cases had been detected in the last 24 hours and two people had died from Covid-19.
From a total of 1,762 tests, have resulted positive 20 people in Tirana, 5 in Korca, 3 in Saranda, and one case each in Fier, Kukes, Lezha, Vlora, Mirdita, Divjaka, Gramsh, Skrapar, Patos, Konispol.
Currently 123 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, 10 of which are in intensive care.
The two people who died are a citizen from Shkodra and a citizen from Durrës, aged 83 and 90 respectively.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses the citizens not to neglect the signs of the disease and to contact the family doctor for any doubt.
