The number of Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 70 as 6 new cases have been reported by the Ministry of Health, as of Friday 20th of March.
“In the last 24 hours 35 suspected cases have been tested, of which 6 new cases with COVID-19 have been confirmed: 5 cases from Tirana (2 traced contact cases and three new cases) and one 82 year old woman from Fier.
“The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has made available a FREE 0800 40 40 green line to any citizen seeking information or advice regarding COVID-19. This line will also serve chronic patients to get information on how to get in touch with their family doctor, how they can benefit from reimbursement drugs and any other concerns they may have.
“But it is important to clarify that If citizens have any signs of illness and emergency cases, the unique national emergency number 127 must be dialed!”, announced in her daily briefing vice Minister Mira Rakacolli.
