The Ministry of Health said today that in the last 24 hours 67 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Albania and unfortunately 6 people could not win the battle with the virus.
At COVID1 hospital, a 43-year-old woman, a 79-year-old man from Tirana and a 65-year-old man from Kruja, with other concomitant diseases, lost the battle with the virus.
In the Covid-2 hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 3 men, a 62-year-old from Pogradec with concomitant diseases, a 56-year-old from Kukës, and a 69-year-old from Tirana without other diseases, could not survive.
During the last 24 hours, 304 tests were performed on suspects affected by COVID19, of which 67 positive cases were confirmed.
The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 56 cases in Tirana, 8 in Durrës, 2 in Elbasan, 1 in Saranda.
In the last 24 hours, 29 citizens have recovered.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses the citizens to respect the rules, keeping their distance from each other, keeping the mask indoors and wherever it is not possible to keep their distance, maintaining personal hygiene, protecting themselves and others.
